Jaipur: After the Rajasthan High Court prohibits the regularization of illegal colonies in cities without having a zonal development plan, the Department of Urban and Housing Development (UDH) has acted for its implementation.
According to mandatory rules, cities that have more than 1 lakh population can only be arranged after the implementation of the ZON development plan.
For the same thing, the state government must notify the zonal development plan of 28 cities.
A official said, “Suggestions and objections from the public in 13 cities to implement the ZON development plan have been implemented.
Similarly, the draft of 11 cities has also been prepared and objected to be invited soon.” In addition, the state government has thrown out the objections received on the plan Zonal in three cities – Alwar, Chittorgarh and Nagaur.
The plan will be resolved soon.
The state government recently launched a special six-month campaign that was ambitious, ‘Shahar-2021’ to issue rent leases.
However, the plan stopped after Rajasthan High Court on Wednesday prohibited the regularization of illegal colonies in cities without having a zone and sector plans.
The decision was given to Roshan Vyas’s petition.
A official said, “The UDH Department has held a meeting on the implementation of zonal plans on October 12.
In the meeting, experts included the government’s advisor to Shahar-2021, GS Sandhu (former major secretary UDH) will be present.
Based on the discussion, replies will be submitted In court.
“The government aims to issue 10 lakh rental acts during the campaign.
The main attraction of the campaign is the regularization of colonies in agricultural land.
It is estimated that around 7-8 lakh has partially or fully built on agricultural land requires a title certificate.
The source said, “After the court order, the government cannot issue an act of rent at 70% plot, promised.” The court has also forbid regularization of plots developed in the facility area.
After this, the UDH department on Wednesday also issued orders to attract previous orders to set plots in the facility area.
