Jaipur: The country recorded the death of the five fifth covid this month on Friday after a patient died in Sri Ganganagar.
With this, the dead have touched 8,960.
This is the 151st Corona Death in Sri Ganganagar.
In December, the state has witnessed a marginal surge in Covid-19 death.
In the last 72 hours, it was the second covid victim.
On Wednesday, a 47-year-old Barmer man died of a virus in Jodhpur.
On December 13, Churu and Rajsamand reported two deaths.
The first death of this month was reported from Bikaner on December 6 since July 31, the state has reported six deaths.
From them, five took place in December.
On November 18, a 2.5-year-old toddler had died in Jaipur, which was Covid-19’s first death in Jaipur in four months and 18 days.
It was the first in the state in four months (since July 31).
Meanwhile, 16 people tested the positive virus in the state on Friday brought the overall calculation to 9.55,189.
Jaipur reported seven of the highest cases, followed by Ajmer (3), Udaipur (2), and one case of each reported from Bhilwara, Bikaner, Sriganagar, and Jhunjhunu.
In Jaipur, seven cases were reported from Vaishali Nagar (3), and one case was reported from Adarsh Nagar, Banipark, C-Scheme, and Murlipura.
Active cases in the state have been reduced from 267 to 259 in the last 24 hours.
The highest number of active cases are in Jaipur (107), followed by Udaipur (22), Alwar (21), Bikaner (20), and Ajmer (18).
In addition, 23 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
From them, 15 recovered in Jaipur.
A health official department said since the 17 cases of omicron variants from Covid-19 have been found in the state, people must follow the appropriate behavior of Covid, including wearing facemask, cleaning or washing hands.
The official said the test for Covid has increased in number and they keep the eyes alert at the airport.
