Jaipur: In the midst of covid restrictions for social and lively meetings, various organizers of the Dussehra festival in Jaipur and other parts of the state have seized celebrations.
Only a member of the Work Committee will be present to burn effigions with promises that they will broadcast events on social media.
The effigion makers of Gujarat, Jalore and Sirohi have reached Jaipur for almost a month and seen in New Sanganer Road, B2B bypass, Tonk Road, Vaishali Nagar, King of Bathing in the capital.
In Jaipur, efficient Mammoth was the center of attraction, but Covid restrictions had urged organizers to make it low business.
The oldest and longest ‘ravana branch’ program and a glimpse of the panoramic fireworks will be lost this time at Dussehra Maidan at King Park.
“We will have a function where the committee members will turn on the effigions and we will free the event on social media,” said an organizer at Aadarsh Nagar Ramleela Maidan.
Also, the Great Ramleela committee has promised not to regulate large functions.
“There will be a complete ban on the entry of the general public and there is no fireworks to be used,” said the organizer of the Dussehra function in Mansarovar.
Meanwhile, efigsi makers also make smaller efficiencies available at Rs 200 to Rs 2,000 per piece.
“There are almost no takers for the second year in a row.
However, compared to last year, things are a little better,” said Jagdish Nath, an efigsi maker in Gopalpura mode.
However, some people bought Effigies in Dussehra Eve for their families and their housing communities.
