Jaisalmer: Joint Team SOG, BSF and Barmer Police recovered 14.740kg Heroin in 14 packages smuggled from Pakistan near the international border in the Gadra police station area.
The value of the drug in the international market is estimated at Rs 75 Crore.
It is believed that the heroin package was thrown from the fence across the border.
Punjab smugglers are said to be associated with consignment.
Barmer SP Deepak Bhargava said that during an investigation of a case on the Barmer-sir border, SOG added SP Kamal Singh and other officers saw a package.
Then, 14,740kg Heroin was restored on the border of Ki Talai’s eyes, Panchla Village in the Gadra Road police station area in the Barmer district.
At present, a case has been submitted and SOG is investigating this case.
