Jaisalmer: Wildlife fans in the desert district have seen rare Egyptian hiering birds with tags.
Two nasar birds like that have come to India from Uzbekistan where someone visits Jaisalmer.
Bird Heroes and Environmentalists Jagani said that many foreign migration birds were seen in the district forest area.
In 2021, Scientist Vladimir Dobrav from the Bulgarian community for bird protection ‘along with Oriental Bird Club and Hawk Conservancy Trust Radio marked three Egyptian nasar birds from the Kyzykum desert in Uzbekistan and began to learn it.
Two Nasar birds, Aanya and Aarya traveled thousands of kilometers to reach India.
Aanya covers 2300 km flying to Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan before reaching the Sheo area in the district.
Another vulture, Aarya covers 1500 km flying to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
He finally landed in Bhadariya’s grassland land to feed the dead livestock.
Local environment Radheyshyam Kenang said that various species of nasar migration came to the Lathi area and felt safe in Bhadariya’s grassland land.
