Rajkot: On Monday 249 new Covid cases were reported from the Rajkot district while one patient gave up on a deadly virus.
A 72-year-old woman from Dhoraji who was treated to Covid at Junagadh Hospital died on Monday.
The woman was fully vaccinated but had comorbidities such as diabetes and hypertension, officials said.
A total of 191 people tested positive in the city of Rajkot and currently 1,273 patients are treated for covid in hospitals and under house isolation.
A total of 103 positive people were tested in the Bhavnagar District while 58 new cases were reported in Jamnagar Regency on Monday.
