Rajkot: The city of Rajkot is ready to get the technological park the information is very awaited.
The Rajkot Information Technology Association (Rita) has transferred a proposal to distribute six square feet of Lakh land for this park on a new ring road.
The proposal is expected to nod the government before the end of the financial year today.
The park will be a big shot on the arm for the TI Rajkot sector which has an annual turnover of Rs 4,000 Crore and grows almost 30%.
This industry has produced an extraordinary business during locking, people in informed.
Rita has demanded for the allotment of Ti Park for a long time.
But Rita officials cannot move proposals due to covid-induced locking.
Finally, about two months back, the proposal to distribute TI Taman to Rajkot was transferred to Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL), the Nodal Department of Science and Technology (DCT) about two months ago.
Jaydeep Nandani, Chair of Rita, said that all relevant details have been submitted to Gil.
“Now, the proposal is waiting for DCT.
We hope to hold a meeting with high-ranking DCT officials immediately for the last nod,” said Nandani.
“We have conducted surveys and associations we have expressed interest in the land about four square meters.
After the park gets a nod, the IT industry from all saurashtra will move here.
So, we demand six slide land from the government,” Nandani added.
Rita officials are around 3,000 units to appear in a park that will produce jobs for almost one lakh.
Rita has demanded land parcels on a new ring road across the smart city of Vajdi Gadh Village.
The location has around three plots measuring six to eight and the source says that one of them can be allocated to Ti Tam.
Ronak Raiyani, President Rita, said that they were in a constant touch with government officials.
“Seeing progress, we expect IT announcements in Rajkot in the next three to four months.
We have also planned to start school finishing for new talents who come out of the university and incubation center for startups in the park,” Riyani said.
