Rajkot: 1,267 people were tested positive for COVDI-19 in the Rajkot district with 1,008 from the Kota Rajkot area on Thursday.
Three deaths were also reported on the same day.
The number of fresh infections has increased marginally compared to Wednesday but down from Tuesday when 1,376 new cases are registered.
On Wednesday, 944 people have been tested positively.
On Thursday, 1,329 people were sent home in Rajkot City.
At present, 7,964 people are in care.
Meanwhile, at Jamnagar 215 was tested positive while 263 was found infected in the Bhavnagar district on Thursday.
