Rajkot: Rajkot District reported as many as 573 new Covid cases on Thursday where 440 was tested positively from Rajkot City.
According to officials, cases in the city crossed 400-mark for the first time in the past six months.
At present, 1,915 people are in care at Rajkot City.
One Covid death was reported from rural areas of Rajkot as a 73-year-old man with comorbidity surrendered to the virus.
In Bhavnagar 236 people were tested positive while 216 new Covid cases were reported from Jamnagar Regency.
Kutch’s skin reported 129 new cases on Thursday.
