Chandigarh: “If the decision occurred for a lifetime of my grandfather Joginder Singh (the father of the Ranjit Singh), his soul would rest calmly.
He died waiting today.
But we are happy that we have justice and guilt who are accused of being proven.
Today’s decision Like balms on our injuries, “Jagseer said, the son of the late Ranjit Singh, reacted to the CBI court order.
Speaking with Toi on Friday, Jagseer said he was eight years old when his father was killed in 2002 and it was his grandfather who had taken into trouble on various platforms so that the guilty people were punished.
He said his grandfather, who died in 2016 awaited a verdict in this case, was used to say that it was a battle between the unequal, when the defendant was strong, but he had great confidence in the CBI and the state justice system.
Jagseer lives with his mother and wife in his home village Khanpur Kolian in Kurukshetra District Haryana.
His two brothers were married.
Recently he filed a petition before HC arrested that he might not get justice from the CBI Panchkula Court specifically in this case.
However, the request was dismissed by HC.
Even on Friday, when the order was spoken, he chose not to go to the CBI court specifically to hear the assessment and stay in Chandigarh only before leaving for his home village.
He did not remember much about the incident and the type of pressure that must be faced by his family in this case because the entire battle was fought for by his grandfather, who was also the main complainant in this case.
Anshul Chhatarpati, whose father was also killed by the Head of the Chief of Dera Sacha Sauda, said Jagseer too young to understand things when his father was killed but he could understand the fear atmosphere where his family was for 19 years.
Anshul said that all credit for their fight went to the grandfather Jagseer, Joginder Singh and added that the decision would be the main pause for the victim’s family.
