Vadodara: The 24-year-old legal student rape departed with a lawyer who defended the Chartered accountant defendant Ashok Jain who stated in court on Tuesday that he was not in Vadodara when the crime was committed.
The lawyers completed the documents during the trial of the Anticipatory Guarantee Applicant Jain that he was in Delhi and Lucknow at the time of rape allegedly committed.
“Affidavit delivered by investigative officers to the court said that the crime allegedly occurred on September 2 or September 3, but on both dates, my client was not in Vadodara,” said lawyer Jain Hitesh Gupta.
According to those documents, Jain left for Delhi from Vadodara with a flight on the morning of September and took another flight to Lucknow.

Interestingly, the complaint given by the rape victim remained silent on the exact date of crime.
The FIR said that rape lasts about a month before September 19.
Responding to these documents, the police told the court that there was a problem with the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) from the CCTV camera installed in a crime.
“If there is a problem with the DVR, the evidence they themselves are irrelevant,” Gupta said.
Meanwhile, Survivor also handed over a written statement to the court on Tuesday who asked not to allow guarantees to Jain.
The affidavit has denied the reason for the anticipatory assurance application Jain.
He loudly stated that Bootlegger Alpesh Wadhwani aka Alpu Sindhi did not have a role in the case and the name Sindhi was being taken by the defendant to distract the court.
Affidavit also stated that Jain had money and muscle strength and political contact because he felt pressurized.
After hearing all the arguments on Tuesday, the court would say the order on October 8.
