Sleuth Branch Crime Starts Looking for Ashok Jain accused, a famous rental accountant and Raju Bhatt, Trustee Mamaatat Pavagadh Temple on Thursday night.
“We have received information that Bhatt has escaped from the country and Jain might go too.
We verify the information from the relevant authorities.
The delay of five days in tracking the defendant helped them escape,” said a branch of a crime branch.
Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) has formed a four-person team to track Jain and Bhatt.
Initial investigation by the crime branch revealed that the 24-year-old girl was first raped by Jain.
He was then allegedly sent Bhatt to him and asked him to ‘work together’.
“Things worse when Jain asked the girl to have a physical relationship with one more person.
When he objected, the defendant attacked him,” said the source of the crime.
