Kolkata: Two people received gunshot wounds when the bullet flew over alleged business competition between realty syndicate members in Purba Siption, close to the Regent of Park, Friday morning.
Pankaj Saha (39) and Avijit Mullick (33), the two residents were anandapally, injured in their stomachs and underwent treatment at the SSKM Hospital.
Both victims supply construction material and recently ventured to promote.
They were involved in a big argument followed by a boxing battle with their striker, before they were shot by the defendant around 4.45 in the morning.
The police said they had so far captured one Victor Bhattacharya in connection with the incident.
“The 7mm gun used for shooting has been restored from it,” said with CP (crime) Murlidhar Sharma.
Victor’s assistant, who was also directly involved in the incident, is currently running.
A special team of detective departments tried to track it.
Incidentally, Uncle Victor, Haradhan Bhattacharya, is the local Trinamool leader.
Victor runs the construction material supply shop in the area.
The TimesViewal area, especially in the South and Southeast City, has seen several incidents like this.
Threats need to be handled effectively and citizens who obey laws need to be convinced that they are safe.
“The incident occurred in Dakshin anandapally.
The victims were parked and charged a sand truck when Victor reached there in his bicycle along with his aide.
The fight occurred, leading to the shot.
Victor, who was accused by the principal, arrested around 7:30 a.m.
Receive a tip-off and mount surveillance outside his residence.
The shooting lasts for some previous revenge, “said DC (SSD) Rashid Munir Khan.
On Friday, Haradhan claimed that he had seen Victor home early with a head injury.
“I demanded an explanation and I knew I had to tell the police.
They came to his house and arrested him,” Haradhan said.
The police claimed it could be a result of the old competition between Victor and the PANKAJ for business that promoted and construction.
The police said they had admitted Victor to Baghajatin Hospital when his head injury looked serious.
Police sources said the PANKAJ had previously tried to create a problem right before the assembly.
“We have warned him.
It seems that his rival now wants to finish the score,” said an officer.
The counter case has been submitted in the name of Victor against the PANKAJ for allegedly attacking him.
