T’puram: After increasing lifestyle disease in the state, registration of lifestyle among people over the age of 30 will be created, said Health Minister Vena George.
The health department will conduct a massive door-to-door survey to create data on lifestyle disease data among people in the state and to learn the reasons behind it.
The mobile application is being prepared under the eHealth program for this, the Minister said.
This will be a comprehensive survey consisting of people’s data that lives with lifestyle diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, oral cancer, breast cancer and cervical cancer.
This campaign is intended to create awareness among people in diseases caused by our lifestyle.
Unhealthy eating habits, tobacco use, addiction to liquor and less exercise cause lifestyle disease among young people.
When the data bank is made, the Ministry of Health will be able to launch a campaign that focuses specific target groups to create awareness, the Minister said.
