Mangaluru: The school in Dakshina Kannada sighed relief, because Covid-19 cases in educational institutions had dramatically reduced.
According to data, fresh positive cases among students and the teacher decreases.

As on Saturday, a total of 504 children and 81 teachers were tested positive for Covid-19.
Sadandada a D Poonja, Beo, North, said that at this time in his jurisdiction, only 11 children were in quarantine, and that they would return to school in three more days.
70 children and 20 teachers have been tested positive so far.
Among the teachers, 18 have recovered, and the rest in quarantine.
“We have observed that there was no new case from Thursday.
This is a sign that Covid-19 cases among children and teachers are reducing,” Poonja said.
Meanwhile, officials of the Public Instruction Department added that even a low percentage of attendance from several weeks, improved.

Sudhakar K, Ddpi, Dakshina Kannada, said that no school was closed in the past few days.
“It’s a sign that students and teachers are free from Covid-19 at this time,” he said.
The vaccination drive will also run faster.
As on Saturday, vaccination 3,925 students are waiting.
“A total of 51,363 students were vaccinated from 55,298 beneficiaries who qualified,” said Sudhakar.
