PANAJI: The Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Saturday warned people of communal polarization efforts in the state.
Inaugurating the church hall in Ribandar, Sawant said the “religious force” had entered the state in an effort to create a communal gap and disturb the harmony of the cave.
“Even during the Portuguese government and after they left, there was no differentiation between Gouops on the caste line, credo or color.
But today, I want to specifically make this point, religious troops have entered Goa.
I want to remind the reops to guard, “Sawant said without describing.
He said that every state in the country has seen friction between various communities due to differences in caste and religion.
“I want to say this again: Religious Forces are entering Goa.
We must ensure that the relationship between the community is not destroyed,” he said.
“But among the dual players – whether we are Christians, Muslims or Hindus – there is no discrimination.
We have lived in unity.
Is it Chovot, Christmas or Eid al-Fitr, we have gone and met each other and maintained good relations.
I am Especially reminding Goa people today, on October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti), “Sawant said.
