Vadodara: Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) struggled to find participants for ratribazaar at mejipura at Ajwa Road.
The market is ready for more than four years now.
VMC has been consistently forced to reduce lease rates, but it has not been successful.
Other efforts are now made by civilian bodies to attract the makers for the market inaugurated in August 2017.
The Civic Agency was originally looking for the minimum annoyance value of the RS 6 Lakh which was later reduced to RS 5 Lakh, RS 3.11lakh, RS 2.25Lakh and, now, RS 1.5lakh.
The interested party has been asked to submit an offer on November 17.
The market has been planned on the line in the circle of Vuda.
VMC plans to have a restaurant on the market that remains open late at night or even early in the day.
The market has 35 stores where four are reserved for people from the SC, ST or OBC category.
Apart from the shops, the market has facilities such as bathrooms, security offices and closed sitting areas where people can get along or eat.
