Mangaluru: Private bus rates in Dakshina Kannada Regency have been revised by the District Road Transport Authority (RTA) on Monday.
According to the revised fee, the minimum cost in the city bus and the route Mofussil, will be rs 12 to 4 km.
Previously, according to the revision of 2020, the cost of Rs 8 to 2 Km and Rs 11.50 for a trip between 2.1 km and 4 km.
Rates for travel from 4 km to 6 km will remain unchanged at Rs 15.
Meanwhile, rates will be reduced from Rs 18.50 to RS 16 to travel between 6.1 km and 8km.
Rates will be reduced from Rs 22 to RS 18 to travel between 8.1 km and 10 km.
Likewise, costs have been reduced in all stages between 10.1 km and 18 km.
In the last stage, from 18.1 km to 20 km, rates have been reduced from Rs 39.50 to RS 23.
In Mofussil services, rates for travel up to 20 km have been reduced from Rs 39.50 to RS 25.
For Express services and services Shuttle, minimum rates have increased from Rs 9 to 11 to 6.5 km and from Rs 16 to RS 19 for the next stage between 6.6 km to 13 km.
Rates have been upgraded in all stages in Express and Shuttle services.
For example, rates for travel between 45.6 km and 52km, rates have been upgraded from Rs 55 to RS 63.
Rates for travel between 156.1km and 162.5km have increased from RS 165 to RS 190.
Separate toll costs will be excluded from passengers by operators Private stage that crosses the toll gate.
New rates will apply with direct effects, RTA notice said.
