Vadodara: The state government has revised the target for Covid-19 vaccination in the city and increases it significantly.
The initial target of vaccination has raised eyebrows because it is much lower than the number of voters in the city.
The initial official vaccination target for Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) limit reached 13.15,477.
Going with this, the city has reached more than 100% of the first dose vaccination until Friday 13.29,562 people get the first dose.
At the other end, 8.27,215 people have been fully vaccinated so far.
The initial target given to VMC is far from the sign because the city actually has 14.46,212 voters according to the data for the last civilian poll.
Officials said that this was a fair estimate of those who qualified for vaccination.

“The target has been revised given the various factors.

Our efforts must approach that number as much as possible,” said the VMC (health) medical officer Dr.
Devesh Patel.
