Lucknow: Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath on Friday urged people to remain vigilant and careful in reporting 251 cases on Friday.
He repeated the importance of Covid-19 prevention protocol to check the spread of the virus.
After examining the Medical Science Institute of Ram Manohar Lohia for Pandemi’s preparedness, CM said, “Coronavirus cannot endanger those who strictly follow the prevention protocol.
Even though the country is ready to fight Covid-19 but it is the task of everyone to remain cautious.” Stating that readiness in the government is very important, Yogi said: “Although the daily testing level is below 0.05% and the fact that more than 85% of the eligible country population has taken at least one dose vaccine, there is the need to take All steps that help us in fighting viruses.
This is the reason I came here to check the Covid-19 dedicated facility.
“Out of a total of 251 cases, Gautam Budh Nagar (61), Lucknow (49), Ghaziabad (34), Mathura (13 ), Meerut (11) and Prayagraj recorded double digit entries, took the total number of active cases to 862.
An official spokesman said from the total active case , more than 600 is under house isolation.
He said door-to-door checks have been launched in addition to aggressive testing, contacts and sequencing genomes to ensure that there are no new cases missed.
According to an official statement, the bed was reserved in all health facilities to attend the alleged Covid-19 patient.
