Jaipur: The leading public sector (PSU) unit (PSU) and private players have shown interest in signing the MoU with the state government to establish a solar energy plant in Rajasthan.
According to the source, the government will sign the MoU (letter of intent) to invest RS 3.05 Lakh Crore under the campaign ‘Invest Rajasthan’.
The company that will sign the MOU / Lois is five PSU including NTPC, NHPC, Satluj Jal Nigam Vidyut Ltd., Tehri Hydel Development Corporation India Ltd., Indian solar energy companies and private companies such as Reliance, Axis and Sael.
The expected investment is worth Rs 3.05 Lakh Crore which includes a renewable energy project with a capacity of 92.1 GW and 4 GW Solar Module Manufacturing.
Rajasthan Energy Corporation Energy Pvt Ltd, the Nodal Department for investment promotion will coordinate with investors who show interest in the country.
In recent months, under the ‘invested Rajasthan’ campaign, the domestic and international investor program has been carried out by the Industrial Department.
The state signed 323 mous and Lois worth RS.
5.73 lakh crore.
