Varanasi: Under Jurisdiction of the Varanasi Division Railway North Eastern (NER), the authority of the Development of Rail (RLDA), a legal entity under the Railway Ministry for the development of railroad land, is bringing up a housing project in Jhusi in Jhusi in the Jhusi District of Prayagraj.
Ner CPRO Rankaj Singh said that RLDA had invited an offer to hire a piece of empty land measuring 70,606 square meters for that purpose.
RLDA has been mandated for commercial site rentals and redevelopment of colonies, stations and multi-function complexes.
According to the RLDA press statement, a pre-online meeting was held on December 20, 2021.
The leading national and local level developers participated in the meeting.
The last date of the submission of e-Barm is January 31, 2022.
The price of this site has been pegged at Rs 79.40 Crore for a 99-year lease period.
The site proposed for housing development is well connected with extensive networks.

It’s about 25 kilometers from Prayagraj Airport, while the Jhusi train station is located right in front of the proposed site.
Access to this site is very convenient, with a front road currently a 12 meter wide, which is proposed to widen up to 24 meters.
Deputy Chairperson of RLDA, Ved Parkash Dudeja said that Jhusi was a very important place, having neolitikum origin.
The city is located across the Ganga and is well connected with Prayagraj through the Shastri Bridge.
Today, Jhusi consists mainly of housing apartments, plots and independent houses.
