Rajkot: In the help of welcome to the hospitality and entertainment sector that has been hit by Covid, the Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) committee has approved a proposal to release theater property taxes, hotels and fitness centers among other business companies.

The state government has deposited credit to the hoarding of the RMC to redeem the income losses suffered due to the neglect of property taxes.
The commercial unit that has paid taxes will receive a refund or amount to be adjusted in tax year 1 and 9.
The construct waste processing project has also been approved.
“The Committee has approved the expenditure of Rs 7.5 Crore to put water pipelines in Nages, Sanjay Vatika, Park Prashil, and Indraprasth Raiiyadhar area.
The Committee also agreed to the construction of a waste treatment plant.
According to Patel, a company has been given a contract to process waste .
The company has been allocated by land near Nakrawadi and they will pay Rs 57 per ton to RMC to buy waste.
