GOODWOOD: A convertible Rolls-Royce using a rear deck which opens to show cocktail tables, fridges for a parasol fitting the car’s baby blue color scheme is currently a fact – to get just one ultra-wealthy person.
Even the”Boat Tail” automobile, so-called since its back is shaped just like a J-class racing fishing, was hand-built more than four decades based on the specifications of an undercover customer of their elite automaker.
“The result is among the most notable cars in history.
I’d say it is likely not a vehicle,” said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, that will be headquartered in southern England and possessed by Germany’s BMW.
“it is a masterpiece of artwork,” he explained as he introduced the vehicle to colleagues in the corporation’s factory in Goodwood.
The Boat Tail’s cost isn’t being made public, nor is it the title of the purchaser.
