‘RSS must fight untouched’

MySuru: Praising RSS as a social organization focused on disciplining youth, former Union Minister and leader Dalit V Srinivasa Prasad on Saturday asked the right-wing organization to involve the fight.
Speaking at an event where Senior Leader RSS M Vankatu was ordered, he said if RSS took the war against Untouchability India could get rid of it which continued even after independence.
Remembering his childhood, Prasad said that he and Venkatamu praised the same Ashokapuram area in the city.
“We both work as volunteers for RSS and learn a lot from RSS,” he said.
He said he honestly worked to lift the oppressed community in all his political career and will retire from election politics after he completed his term as a member of the Chamarajanagar parliament.
Human practices such as punishing members of Dalit to enter the temple must be prohibited.
He added.
RSS, he urges, must try hard to build a fair society in addition to imagining Swami ViveKandada dreams – caste-free society.
Senior RSS leader Su Ramanna emphasized the union of Hindu organizations and the need to bring everyone throughout all including Dalit to build a prosperous and harmonious country.
RSS Secretary General Dattatreya Hosabale filed an appeal to young people to be involved in the nation’s development activities.
Suttur Mutt Seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami, Ksou Representative of Chancellor of Chancellor and Karthataka State Gangubai Music and Art Performances Universitas Vice Chancellor Nagesh V Bettakote was present.
