Nagpur: Opposition leader in Maharashtra Council Devendra Fadnis expressed concern for reports of terrorist organizations based in Pakistan Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) who conducted surveillance to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh building (RSS) here.
Speaking to the media after his arrival at the airport here on Saturday, Nagpur Mla Southwest said this problem must be taken seriously.
“I am convinced that the Center for Investigation Center and Maharashtra Police will investigate this problem and be careful to thwart any subversive efforts by terror organizations,” Fadnivis said.
One of the four JEM terrorists arrested in Srinagar claimed to visit the city last month for recce of the Safron Organization headquartered in the city.
He also visited sensitive places and other religions for the same purpose.
At the threat of death for the BJP leader Ashish Shelar, the former Main Minister said when Shelar always survived against the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and revealed their corruption, he was targeted.
“The police must take this problem seriously and investigate so that the perpetrators are taken to the book,” Fadnivis said.
After receiving a threat, Shelar had rushed a letter to Police Commissioner Mumbai Hemant Nagarale, complaining that they came from two different telephone numbers.
