Moscow: Russia reported a record number of deaths of Coronavirus everyday on Wednesday when the country struggled with a stubborn infection rate and the area outside Moscow carefully brought back pandemic restrictions.
The fifth worst country in the world with more than 7.5 million infections, Russia has seen cases of climbing since August driven by a transmitted Delta variant and slow drives vaccination.
A government calculation recorded 929 Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death told the highest Russian daily virus since the plague of pandemic.
