Moscow: Russian forces have held military exercises to practice repelling massive air strikes by enemies, Interfax cites the Russian West Military District told Monday, in the midst of a deadlock between Moscow and the West for NATO’s ambition of Kyiv.
About 1,000 troops participated in operation, Interfax reported.
Russia has collected tens of thousands of troops in posts close to Ukraine and demanded that the South neighbors be treated in NATO and no offensive weapons deployed there or in other neighboring countries.
Some troops began to return to the permanent base after training near Ukraine.
