Kanpur: 70 Ministry of Health Team under the guidance of experts from Delhi and Lucknow, bought blood and urine samples from 175 air force personnel on Thursday.
“Along with 175 blood samples and urine air force staff, nearly 76 blood samples and the urine of civilians located within a radius of 3 Km Pardevanpurwa and Pokharpur have been taken on Thursday by the Ministry of Health Team to track Zika’s case if any.
All samples have been sent to Kgmu Lucknow Lab for further testing, “Informed Dr.

To remember, 70 health department team since the surface of the first Zika case in the IAF state, has been looking for the source in a survey with experts from Delhi and Lucknow starting from Wednesday.
“Of the 55,000 households, the survey of nearly 16,000 was completed until the date in a radius of 3 km from Pardevanpurwa Pokharpur,” said Dr.
Mishra further.
He said until the 292 samples were collected.
“The 40 report came negative and we were still waiting for 252 reports, which would likely come on Friday,” he said and added further, “Four ACMO level officers have been appointed to monitor.
At the same time, six medical officers have also been engaged to Monitor 70 teams.
“The Zika test center will be established at the Microbiology Department of GSVM Medical College, the team of experts from Delhi held a meeting with medical college management officials on Wednesday night.

The expert team from Delhi consists of three members including Dr.

“The Gynecological Department staff will be given training on Zika, so that infected can be treated in accordance with the Zika protocol,” further officials said.
