Bhubaneswar: Schools throughout the country have arranged complex Covid safety measures because class VIII students to XII will continue attending offline classes from Monday.
The government has stated a new schedule for class.
Class 9 to 12 will be carried out from 10am to 4pm, while grade 1 to 8 from 9am to 1:00 p.m.
“It is good that the government has extended the time for class 9 and on it so that more classes can be held and courses.
Many children have raised concerns over the graduation of the curse because they often suspend offline classes,” said Gangadhar Mishra, a teacher in the city school.
The state government has decided to close the school from January 10, after a surge in omicron cases throughout the country.
All schools are being cleaned before the return of offline classes.
However, online classes will also continue as usual for those who do not want to attend in-people.
Meanwhile, part of the student urged the government to state the board exam date.
“We do not demand an exam to be canceled, but the government must announce the date,” said Jatin Balin, a 12th grade student.
