Thiruvananthapuram: From Selfie to Vlogging, Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Limited (SCTL) involves the population of the city with a number of competitions as part of the 75-year independence warning.
Thiruvananthapuram is one of the many smart cities that took part in the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, an initiative from the trade union government carried out as part of celebrating 75-year independence.
The Ministry of Housing and urban affairs have directed that cities can carry out an urban transformation mission of 75 hours as part of reorganizing public spaces in smart cities.
The program is being planned in the city from October 1 to 4.
Drawing competitions based on Gandhi Jayanthi and the theme of freedom of struggle, the best selfie competition with the background ‘I Love Trivandrum’, photographs of group plantations in public places and competition for the best vlogger organized SCTL.
Those who are interested can register for competition until October 1 by filling out the Google Form https://forms.GLE/FUFHZXPVM5HMZGW68.
In addition, registration also starts for cultural, marathon, cycling, skating activities, yoga and running.
All events will be marked at the Kanakakunnu Palace.

SCTL coordinates with 100 members of the Council of the Environment to choose a place for transformation.
Board members will choose a place in each neighborhood to be transformed using painting or art installation.
