Rajkot: While the Covid-19 case has diminished sharply, there is a significant increase in the case of seasonal, cold and cough fever for the past two weeks in Rajkot City.
According to Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC), on the week ended on Sunday, 501 cases of seasonal, cold and cough fever reported in Rajkot City.
In the previous week (ending February 6), 693 cases were detected in the city.
RMC has warned residents to remain vigilant for flu and seasonal illness caused by mosquitoes.
Man hit the pole during horse racing, died Rajkot: a horse riders died while the race horse at Kutch on Sunday after the animal riding an electric pole.
According to the police, Rajdeepsinh Jadeja (28) received a head injury due to a collision with a cement pole and he died before reaching the hospital.
The horse race was held from Tragdi to Gundiyadi Village in Nakhatrana Taluka.
