Vadodara: Pavagadh’s temple trust on Thursday released his secretary Raju Bhatt, who had been accused of raping a 24-year-old law student in the city, from his position.
The temple board had met to discuss charges against Bhatt along with several other problems where the decision was taken.
The chairman of the trust, Surendra Patel said that Bhatt had written to the management of the temple and asked to release him from secretary position after the complaint was submitted against him.
And management accepted his offer and released it.
The decision was also taken to remove it from the position of Trustee if Bhatt was punished in this case.
Bhatt and Chartered Accountants Based on Ashok Jain City were ordered to rape a law student who studied at a private university on September 19.
Duo has escaped since then.
Shamsher Singh City Police Commissioner on Thursday transferred the investigation of the case to the city crime branch.
The girl accused Jain, who runs the CA company, persecuting after climbing her drink at the guest house.
He said that Jain also came to the flat and raped it later.
Bhatt was also accused of raping the girl and threatened it with terrible consequences.
“We have provided police protection to the girl,” Singh said.
Jain has written a letter to the DGP of the country and the Minister of Home Affairs who claimed his innocence.
He stated in a letter that he was framed by the girl friend Alpesh Vadhwani alias Alpu Sindhi which was a historysheter.
