Ludhiana: Considering the Voting Day on February 20, Deputy District Magistrate Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma has stated reddish days in the district from 6pm on February 18 to 20 February 2022 to conclusions from voting.
Investigating details, Deputy Commissioner said Dery Day was declared in entre district from 6pm to 18-20 February after assembly selection.

He stated that this command has been issued to maintain law and order in view of voting and calculation.
In other order, Ludhiana District Judge stated that it had reached its notification that in Ludhiana District Jurisdiction, several hotels, restaurants / Dhabas, liquor stores etc.
Stay open for a long time at night and illegal activities are being carried out by anti-social elements.
This creates fear between the general public and also disrupts the situation of law and order.
Therefore, specific steps need to be taken in the public interest to prevent these incidents in hotels / dhabas, liquor stores at night.
While using strength under Section 144 CRPC Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act-2 of 1974) in Ludhiana Regency, the district judge has banned hotels, restaurants / refining and liquor stores so as not to open at 11:00 a.m.
