Mumbai: Announcing the neglect of full property tax for homes measuring less than 500 square feet in Mumbai, Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday sounded the Shiv poll Sena’s Bugle for BMC selection.

Political analyst said Aaditya could be Sena’s main face for BMC polls.
With the state government in increasing seats in BMC from 227 to 236, and the lack of clarity over the OBC reservation and the third Covid-19 wave, the BMC selection can be postponed, officials said.
Interestingly, the Minister of Congress Aslam Shaikh, who is the Minister of Guardian for Mumbai City, is also part of a meeting where tax neglect is announced, indicating that the understanding between Sena and Congress can be on the card.
With the City Congress President Bhai Jagtap said the party would go alone in the BMC poll, Sena strategist said instead of the formal alliance, the party may have “understanding” with Congress in the main fields to defeat BJP.
