Senator wants MSU to postpone the election

Vadodara: Senate Members and Contest Candidates on Monday demanded that Ms University must postpone selection given the increasing case of Covid-19 throughout the state.
Election for three categories, including a chair representing donors, middle school teachers and high school principals are scheduled on January 13.
The Senate member Dr.
Nikul Patel along with Digvijaysinh Rathod, which fought in the category of secondary school teachers, filed a memorandum to MSU Deputy Chancellor stated that 942 teachers from 147 schools were voters in the category of this Senate election.
“More than 1,000 teachers along with supporters of candidates and university election staff will gather at the Faculty of Education and Psychology for elections,” their representatives warned.
The duo has demanded to delay the election date until conditions increase.
“The Gujarat government has also provided guidelines for social meetings not more than 400 people somewhere.
Here, more than 1,000 people can choose and participate in the selection process,” said the representation.
