T’puram: Veteran Malayalam e somanaath journalist (58) died in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
He has retired from Malayala Manorama as a senior specialty correspondent in 2021.
He has carved a niche for himself as a sharp political analyst, Witty Assembly Reporter and an Environmental writer.
Somandangath is one of the broad political reporter in the state and its popular weekly political columns ‘azhchkipipukal’.
He has reported the assembly process for 30 years and before his retirement, speaker M Bajesh and other legislators have heard it for his contribution.
Somandangath, who came from Vallikkunnu in Malappuram, survived his wife Radha, daughter Devaki and Daughter-in-law Midhun.
