New Delhi: State Level Eligibility Test Commission, Assam has released the postponement of exams set in 2022 for the State Assembly elections to come.

State level eligibility test (Slet) conducted for recruitment ASST.
Professor for the State of the Northeast – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura.
Currently, the test is held in these subjects – Assamese, English, Economics, Education, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Geography, Manipuri, Bodo, Bengali, Hindi, Anthropology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Arabic, Persian, Law, Commerce Chemistry , life sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, computer science and environmental science.
Trials will be conducted in 2022 set Gahati University, Dibrugarh University, Tezpur University, Assam University, Manipur University, Rajiv Gandhi University Center, Arunachal, Tripura University, Sikkim (NAR Bahadur Bahari) and Mizoram University.
At present, the Commission has received a net syllabus conducted by UGC and CSIR.

The test will consist of two papers.
All the two papers just will have objective type questions of the following form:
(A) multiple choice
(B) Matching
(C) statements and reasoning
(D) Right and Wrong
The test will be held on the day in two separate sessions.

Paper – I will have a common subject, intended to assess the aptitude of teaching / research candidates.
It will primarily designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness about the candidate.
Paper – II consists of 100 objective type questions based on the subject.
Each question will carry 2 marks.
There will be no negative marking.
