Patna: Sleuths of the Alerting Investigation Bureau on Friday raided the office and residence of the Ministry of Madan Kumar building construction department on Patna and assets excavated worth more than RS 2.54 Crore who were disproportionate with the known source of income.
Kumar posted as executive engineer of the Patliputra division from the building construction department on Patna.
The raid was carried out at the office engineer located near the Bihar Museum and a three-storey three-story house in the Vrindavan colony, Gola Road.
Processing sources say 21 plots in Patna conscious, Danapur and Phuwari and two more in Madhubani are registered in the name of engineers, his wife Premlata Kumari and the stairs.
They said the actions of eight plots on Patna and two in Madhubani recovered during the Friday attack.
“This plot is worth some crores if it is evaluated at the market level.
The house, on behalf of his wife, alone is worth RS7-8 Crore,” said a source.
The sources added by Kumar’s Elder Son were second year engineering students in South Indian colleges while his younger sons learned in class IX.
They said Kumar joined the service as an assistant engineer in PWD on May 7, 1997 and his total income from the salary until now was Rs 1.2 Crore.
“The overall income of all sources is Rs 1.74 Crore.
But he has collected immovable properties worth RS 2.23 Crore and mobile properties worth RS 1.08 Crore according to the FIR registered on October 6.
The FIR Stage is Rs 2.26 Crore that has increased to Rs 2.54 Crore after the attack, “said a source.
