MySuru: Seven Urban Local Agencies in Mysuru have prepared an action plan under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation Schemes and Urban Transformation (Amruption) and handed it to the Government for funds.
St Somashekar District Minister on Friday said the minister’s chairman had announced a special package of RS 165 Crore under the Amrut Nagarothana Scheme Phase-4 for 13 urban local agencies in the district.
From them, projects designed by seven local bodies have been given approval and their action plans have been submitted to the government to be approved.
This scheme aims to provide water supply, urban transportation and other basic facilities to households in their respective regions and to build facilities to improve the quality of life.
The planned Action of Nanjiad, Hootagall, and the City Council of Periyapatna and Bogadi, Rammanahalli, Srirampura, and Kadakola Town Municipalities was approved at the district level meeting, the Minister said.
Nanjippers and Hootagalli each will get Rs 30 Crore, Periyapatna Rs 10 Crore and the rest will get RS 5 Crore each under the scheme.
The Board has prepared a project for 85% of sanctions funds and handed it to the district level committee.
