Gurugram: After a 24-year-old student was killed on the SGT University campus on Friday, several hostel hostels packed their bags and went to their home during the weekend.
Other people who are still on campus say they are afraid and haven’t come out of their room.

Friday, Vinit, the last year of BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic and Surgical Treatment), was shot dead by fellow students.
The young man was from Shamli at Uttar Pradesh and used to stay at Hostel College.
Lovepreet Singh, a student of the last year, said their parents were worried and had asked them to leave campus.
“Everyone is afraid.
On Saturday, 20-30 students leave the hostel.
Their parents came to pick them up,” he said.
The students said they would not return until the youth accused of being arrested and the security of the campus was tightened.
The main defendant, Palikh, aka lucky, is a year-end law student from Najafgarh Delhi.
Three other students – Lucky’s Brother Rahul, his friend Himani, a BSC student last year, and Nitesh – has been ordered in this case too.
After the shooting, the police have directed the university to tighten security arrangements on campus and ensure that no one includes compounds without producing identity cards.
The college was also asked to increase the number of CCTV cameras and security guards.
But students accused that outsiders can still be seen on campus.
“There is almost no security here.
Anyone can enter the university.
Students have not been offered guarantees by officials.
Those who are still in hostels are very scared.
They don’t come out of their room,” said a hostel hostel who did not want to be identified.
On Saturday, a group of students issued an urgent witness to get their statement.
The same March is set on Friday too.
“Gradually, everyone will go and they will only return when there is adequate security settings,” said another student.
Ranjeesh Yadav, Public Relations Officers, SGT, said security had been improved and they talked to students to get details about the incident.
“This is surprising not only students but also administration.
This is the first time in 21 years after such an incident happens here.
We mobilize more security guards,” he said.
“Most students who leave the campus come from the department of youth who have died and they are very scared,” he added.
Initial investigations have revealed that Vinit and Lucky have a dispute six months ago.
They quarreled and then, fight.
It has been found that a girl broke up with vinit and moved lucky.
But he keeps in touch with Vinit and Lucky is not happy with this.
