Hobart: Verma Shafali India attacks half a century and Radha Yadav Scalped two doughes in Sydney Sixers’ Five-Wicket Win in the big bash league of women but Poonam Yadav’s efforts did not produce the desired results because his team Brisbane Heat lost the match on Sunday.
The young Shafali opening hit 57 out of 50 balls with six hits to the fence in pursuit of Sixers’ managed to pursue Hobart Hurricane, which made 125 for nine.
Apart from the beat of Shafali, Sixers captain Ellyse Perry hit 27 escape from 33 balls while reaching 129 for five at 19.3 overs.
Radha’s left arm spinner got rid of compatriot Richa Ghosh (46 of 46) and Sasha Moloney (22 of 16 balls) to help Sixers limit the storm into a simple total.
In another match, the Poonam Spinner leg was dismissed by Beth Mooney (40) and Heather Graham (6) to help warm up Brisbane limit the Perth Scorcher to 137 for seven people after inviting them to Bat.
The heat also ended in the score 137 for nine and then Scorcher won the contest through one-over eliminator.
