Thiruvananthapuram: Shashi Tharoor, Thiruvananthapuram MP, who has faced severe criticism from Congress leaders to support the Silverline project, has now tightened his support for the project.
Interestingly, he only resembles this project center.
“I have tried to get a central perspective on the Kerala Silverline project, but the Indonesian government seems to think ignorance is happiness.
Concerns expressed in projects with great importance need to be handled through transparent & consultative deliberation w / [with] all stakeholders,” he tweeted on Tuesday night.
He refers to his unmounted question given to the Union train Ministry at Lok Sabha on December 15.
Tharoor has asked whether the train has noted forest areas to be cleaned for the construction of the Silverline project in Kerala.
He has been looking for the details of the land area obtained for project development, whether land acquisition for the Silverline project will lead to the transfer of locals in the project line, and if so, the details along with housing and monetary compensation given to them.
For this, the UNION Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has answered that “project considerations depend on the feasibility of the project economy.
At this stage the details of the land, rehabilitation along with compensation cannot be ascertained”.
Tharoor, who was annoyed by the reply of the minister of the Union train, said the concerns expressed in this project must be discussed with stakeholders and there must be transparency.
The government cannot show the ignorance of such a project, he added.
