Hyderabad: A Hurt Prakash Raj, who lost to Manchu Wisnu for the President’s post at the film artist Association (MAA), came out of the association.
He announced on Monday that he disconnected with Maa and handed over the main membership of the association.
“It’s a self-esteem problem for me.
The problem of locals and non-local residents has been highlighted to show that I am non-local.
Is that wrong that my parents are not Telugus?” He asked.
At a technical point that only MAA members who can act in Telugu films are produced here, he asks, “Will they also choose to remove my bond with producer, director and audience?” “Let them do what they want to do.
I am very hurt because it is described as non-Telugu and is shown that I should not occupy a post in Maa,” he said.
“I will not work or become part of the association that has such an ideology,” said Prakash Raj, said a national award-winning actor.
However, he explained that he would not refuse to act in Telugu film, if the role came even if he was not part of MAA.
The election to the film artist association was held on Sundays and Manchu Wisnu won against Prakash Raj.
This campaign mainly focuses on Prakash Raj being nonugu.
“They show that non-telugu can be a member but should not want to win in elections.
They have also talked about changing regulations not to enable non-Telugu to oppose polls.
I have understood this clearly,” he said.
Prakash Raj said he did not make a hasty decision to stop stopping.
“I understand the scenario.
I have understood the mindset,” he said, hoping that Manchu Wisnu led MAA and fulfilled all his promises.
This actor also refers to a statement by the State President of BJP Bandi Sanjay to appreciate the film artist because he did not choose ‘Tukde Tukde Gang’.
“This is their mentality describing me.
I remained in politics regardless of all the criticisms that arose even after I lost the Lok Sabha poll in 2019.
But as far as Maa was worried, I could not be part of the organization that clearly showed that it did not want me ,” he says.
