Mysuru: Former Chief of the Minister and Opposition Leader in the Siddaramaiiah Assembly on Sunday said that taking the administration of the temples away from the state government would result in managing temples that returned to the Broo community.
“This will revive the Manuvadi ideology,” Siddaramaiiah said.
Filling BJP using leaders belonging to the Community ‘Shudra’ to justify the decision, Siddaramaiiah dubbed the ‘Anti-Hindu’ proposal.
“These temples are independent even now, and the government only maintains them.
When the government gives them, even the last person has the right to enter them.
By taking it from PurView the Government, the temple can be banned for Dalits again, which will be a blow to the values of the Sharana movement .
People must oppose this proposal, “said the former CM.
