MySuru: The opposition leader Siddaramaiiah who was closely and former HC Minister Mahadevappa on Friday said that Siddaramaiiah would hold a dinner meeting with a congress who was not satisfied with MLC CM Ibrahim to calm him down.
Speaking to reporters, said Mahadevappa, following the instructions from the former Siddaramaiiah cm, he had met MLC earlier this week.
“Ibrahim was injured and disappointed.
I have asked him to hand in hand against the troops who threaten democracy and the constitution.
Ibrahim has received my request.
When he believes that he will not make a hurry, I hope he will not leave the Congress Party,” He said.
However, Ibrahim has indicated that he can join JD.
Speaking to reporters at Mandya, the Congress legislator said it was important to strengthen the hands of former PM HD Deve Gowda in his struggle for problems related to Karnataka.
“We have worked together before,” he said even when he added that Siddaramaiiah was welcome to visit him at his home and have dinner with him.
“My house is always open like Bhavan Dasoha,” he said.
“The top party leaders from New Delhi have invited me to talk.
I will make a decision after discussing it with my followers,” he said.
