Mumbai: The delay faced by student participant licensing applicants when booking a test slot tends to reduce, follow the regional Tardeo (RTO) transportation office to increase the daily slot from 630 to 903.
The source says that there will be 154 daily slots for them.
Student licenses have just expired and cannot provide a test.
“Driving tests are being carried out for most of the day – starting at 9am to 6pm,” said the Bharat Kalalasascar regional transportation officer.
Total daily slots for SIM tests in all four RTOS in Mumbai – Tardeo, Andheri, Wadala and Borivali – have risen more than 77% in recent months.
In 2020-21, the city of RTOS will do around 900 driving tests every day.
This figure has reached 1,600 tests every day now.
A transportation official said that work orders will soon be issued for automatic tracks for Andheri and Tardeo RTOS after it will take around a year to set it.
“Our goal is to replace all manual tests with 100% computerized sensor-based tests throughout Maharashtra.
This will provide accurate results and ensure that only those who have the right skills to drive a car / bike and have knowledge of road safety / rules Traffic, “he added.
