Mangaluru: The first additional district and court session Judge T P Ramaling Gowda on Friday sentenced six people in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old young man in Beltangady.
Suresh rose killed a day before his engagement on April 29, 2017.
The trial in the sentence was scheduled for July 28.
The convicts are anand up, 39, Praveen up, 34, Prakash, and Nagaraj, 43, from Belthangady and Lokesh, 38, from Bantwal.
Public Prosecutor B Shekhar Shetty, gave details of this case, saying that Anand rose to work for a temple, and claimed to have fallen in love with a girl who married Suresh up.
The Suresh Up Involvement Ceremony was planned for April 30.
With the help of five others, Anand conspiraced to kill Suresh rise, the day before his engagement.
Even though he was married, Anand went up to marry the girl and asked his parents to his hand, and even threatened Suresh up, and told him not to marry the girl.
When Suresh rose to buy clothes for his fiance on April 29, 2017, Vinay Kumar called him, said that the loan under the Kalyana Ganga scheme was available, and that he had to come to Ujire to take advantage of the same thing.
At 8:30 a.m.
the defendant suffocated Suresh to death in the car on Jalan Mundaje-degupe.
Then in an isolated place on Jalan Patrama-Dharmasthala, they poured gasoline on his body which was packaged in a gunny bag, and burned it.
They even burned the items he brought near Keyyur Village.
A case was submitted at the Dharmasthala police station under the IPC section related to the murder, the disappearance of evidence and criminal conspiracy, and the defendant was arrested on May 4, 2017.
Circle Inspector Nagesh K investigated the case and filed a chargesheet.
Note Details of calls from Vinay Kumar and DNA test reports are important evidence in this case.
The court examined nearly 33 witnesses.
