Rajkot: Six people including two employees from the oil purification company in Jamnagar were booked on Saturday because running a racket to steal a diesel from a fuel tanker.
According to complaints given by the supervisor of the company’s shift, the truck and cleaning driver was identified as Rajpalsinh Gohil, Bhagirathsinh Gehil, Rahul Dangar and Brijrajsinh Chudasama had started theft with the help of two company field executives – Nikunjel and Mayur.
Patel and Valand are responsible for checking that tankers who come to load gasoline and diesel in the company do not have a leak.
If the tanker has a leak, the fuel is reduced and the tanker is sent back.
Duo takes advantage of their position and asks their four legs to make a leak on a tanker and come for fuel loading.
When Bhagirathsinh and Rajpalsinh took their tankers, Patel and Valand, after tankers filled, getting fueled because there was a leak.
However, they let 4,000 liters of diesel remain on a tanker and allow Bhagirathsinh and Rajpalsinh to sell diesel in the black market in Morbi for Rs 1.5 lakh.
They provide part of money to Patel and Valand.
Likewise, Dangar and Chudasama were permitted twice to sell 18,000 liters of diesel worth Rs 14.4 lakh in Morbi and Jamnagar villages.
The fraud was excavated when pandya suffered suspicion and he was investigating it.
On November 19, Pandya asked Dangar to show his license, but he had the license of Chudasama’s father who then raised suspicion.
Dangar and Chudasama were taken to the security office and questioned where they admitted that they had sold diesel after Bhagirathsinh and Rajpalsinh told them how such theft might be and Patel and Valand also, agreed after they were promised their shares.
