Bathinda: Sanyukt Morcha (SKM) has given a call to all its constituents to observe national protests on October 26, to intensify the demand for the arrest and dismissal of the Union Minister of State for Raiding Mishra for the violence of Lakimpur Kheri and also to mark the settlement of 11 months their struggle against Three central agricultural laws.
The call has been given to hold a sit-in and march during the day between 11am and 14:00.
SKM stated that the visit of the members of the Nine Coordination Committee of Yogendra Yadav to the family of BJP workers who died in Lakhimpur Kheri had injured farmers’ sentiment related to the movement.
On his side, Yadav said he visited a mourning family to share their sadness in a non-partisan way, and that he stood with the actions he did in his personal capacity in terms of his principles and policies.
He apologized because his actions had injured sentiments to protest farmers, and regret the fact that he did not consult with SKM colleagues before the visit.
He was suspended for a month from SKM on Thursday.
SKM states that ‘Asthi Kalalash Yatra’ has started from Tikunia on the Antim Day of Ardaas farmers who were killed in Lakhimpur Kheri.
It was said after the fresh video emerged from Lakhbir Singh, who was killed at the Singhu border by a group of Sikh on October 15, claimed that he received Rs 30,000 from someone to thwart the movement.
The ashes that are immersed in the quality (ash) of the five farmers who were killed in the violence of Lakhimpur Kheri were soaked in Satluj at Hussaiwala on Friday.
‘Asthi Kalash Yatra’ leaves Patiala in the morning and reaches Hussainiwala through Sangrur, Barnala and hopefully.
Farmers hold ‘Asthi Kalash Yatras’ from 18 to 24 to immerse the victim of the victims of Lakhimpur Kheri in rivers throughout the country.
